Father's Day

We had a wonderful Father's Day. Waffles with strawberries and whipcream for breakfast. Steak, potatoes, & asparagus for dinner. And the presents this year the kids picked out. They each bought him something that represented what they loved about their dad.

I chose an exercise shirt, because I love that we can run together.

Sammy chose a joke book and a tie, because her dad is funny and handsome.

Alex chose a science experiment set, because his dad teaches him new things.

And Clara chose a book, because she loves it when her daddy reads books to her.

Clara's first salon haircut

Clara needed a trim, so we took her to the salon.

Excited to be just like her big sister getting her hair cut.

Not daring to move an inch...she did a great job holding perfectly still.

So glad it is all done:)

George's Annual Zurich Trip

George went to Zurich again this year for work! I told him next year we are coming with him. No more staying home and holding down the fort:)

Marlins Game

George found a great deal on tickets to a Marlins game...it was in the middle of the week and school was in session. He ended up having to go to California for work, so I went a lone. It was hot (seriously I was soaked from sweat) and we had a major ice cream spill by Alex, but we loved it. Our seats were awesome. No crazy fans to deal with. And no traffic getting out! I'll do this type of baseball game again!

Since we had an extra ticket with George being gone we brought Sammy's great friend Jilian.

Proof that I was actually there.

Such great seats! And the Marlins won...with several home-runs!

Mother's Day by the pool!

George and the kids wanted me to truly relax on Mother's Day. So after a little nap I was served various tropical drinks as I relaxed by the pool. George and some of the kids couldn't resist the nice water and ended up going for a little swim. I on the other hand continued to relax and just watched.
My alone time was done. George couldn't keep the kids away any longer.

Opening the gifts the kids had gotten me.

George and Clara...that girl just loves to swim.
