The waiting is over!

Clara Jean Gourley arrived Saturday 12/8/09 at 1:28 pm. She weighed 8 lbs 3 oz and was 20 inches long. She reminds us so much of how Sammy looked as a baby. The delivery went well, which means quickly & with an epidural! We feel so blessed to have this new little one in our home and love her dearly. Even when she cries out for us at night, both George & I jump to our feet to take care of her! We just can't get enough of Clara!
Clara is all ready to come home.

George & I just love this little one.

Sammy is such a great big sister!

Alex is a very proud big brother!

Waiting...

Yes...I am still pregnant and going a little crazy. With Alex being 3 weeks early I assumed that I would have had this little girl by now. But no such luck. My doctor stripped my membranes last Friday. I had lots of contractions, but nothing to send me to the hospital yet. I have never had to do this waiting game and I have to say I don't like it one bit. For all of you who have been through this before I send you my sympathies!

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. It was a little unconventional, but perfect for us. We (the Gourleys, the Taylors, & the Millers) actually ordered our food from Plutos (a local restaurant), picked it up, ate it at a park, & returned to the Taylors for football & resting. It was very relaxing and just what we needed.

Sammy's class performed a few Thanksgiving songs and then had a feast. Don't you like her turkey hat?!
