It's a girl!

We are very excited to announce that our family is expecting a baby girl on December 7th! Sammy said she would be happy with either another brother or a sister, but the look on her face when she found the pink dress in the bag was priceless. She & Alex both will be great helpers & love her dearly. The first picture is suppose to be the proof that she is a girl and the second is a picture of her face and stomach. We can't wait for her to come!

The Ritz Carlton

Ernst & Young spoiled us this year and took us to the Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay. George golfed and I got a spa treatment. That night we went out with one of George's teams and then met the kids back at the hotel. It was a great night away!

Sammy & Alex in the Gazeebo Saturday morning.

George let me sleep in while the kids went for a walk. Here they are finally waking me up and having me wave outside the window to them.

We went for a swim after breakfast. It was a wonderful & dreamy night away.

Tahoe Relay

This was my second year running a leg in the 7 man relay around Lake tahoe.

Before my run. I was the first leg.

After the run. It was hard, but so glad I did it.

The best part was the wonderful girls/women that I ran it with! Go HOT HOBBS MAMAS!

Our little ballarina!

Sammy had her first ballet recital. There is something about those tutus!

It was a really small class with a friend of mine as the teacher.

We were so proud of her!

Sammy's Preschool Graduation

Can you believe Sammy will be going to kindergarten next year? Neither can we. Sammy graduated from preschool on Friday June 1st. I was so proud of her. She requested that we make sugar cookies for the potluck afterwards, so we made graduations hats. George put the finishing touches of the tassels on...who knew he was a baker. I am proud to say that I didn't cry at graduation, but I almost passed out when they announced them as the Class of 2020! Sammy is growing up too fast.

Backyard Camping

George, Sammy, and Alex spent Friday night camping in our backyard. We are not big campers as a family, so this was a big step. We had homemade pizzas, roasted marshmellows for Smores on the grill, & I tucked them in for the night. George has to read quite a few books and tell numerous "scary" storys to get them to sleep, but they did fall asleep. At least until 5:00 am when they came in and would not go back to sleep. So they watched a movie while George and I slept some more. You notice that I am not in any of the photos...I had a very comfortable night sleep in the house after watching Dream Girls. Now that is my kind of camping. :)
