Who invented the sprinkler?

I would love to know so that I can thank them for creating hours of fun for my kids. I introduced the sprinkler under the trampoline to Alex & Sammy a few weeks ago. And they have done it almost every day since. Who knew a sprinkler, water, & a trampoline could be so much fun! Thank sprinkler inventor. You made this mom a lot happier!

Grandpa Gourley's Visit

What a great time we had when grandpa Gourley came to visit! We played until we couldn't play anymore, ate until our tummies were about to explode, & watched movies until we'd seen every last one of them! Thanks George (grandpa)! We love you!

We saw all the gators I would ever want to see in 2 hours at Shark Valley. Not to mention the snake that crossed the path right in front of us and the many different type of birds & fishes.


Deerfield Beach is one of our favorites. It was a perfect day! We all (Clara loves the water) swam in the water & played in the sand. I even got to suntan for a while with an extra hand around. :)

Alex can swim!

Alex has been taking swimming lessons for a few months and is now swimming! He loves the swimming under the water & wearing those cool blue googles.

Sammy did her first up-do!

I about died when I came up stairs to do Sammy's hair for school and she had already done it bow & all. Me being the perfectionist that I am tried to fix it, but she told me I was hurting her feelings and so I quickly stopped and told her I loved it! When I picked her up from school half of it was out, but she didn't care. My big girl is even bigger now!

Growing up too fast!

Clara is growing up way too fast! We still call her Baby Clara, but she is turning into one very busy toddler. Her latest is her loud screaming. She lets you know if she wants something, doesn't want something, needs you, or just needs to be heard. She loves to talk on the phone, through things away, & mostly play with her big siblings. She is no longer our little baby.


This is proof that some of my Idaho roots are showing through. She loves mashed potatoes! If only she would use the spoon on her tray.


Mom, this one if for you! We love the dress! I tried to get one smiling, but we were a little late for church.


Clara loves books. She would read them all day long if she could.


She has so much fun pulling out EVERY SINGLE dvd and looking at them. I thought those big drawers would be too heavy for a little child to open, but I was wrong.


Her sweet baby...a glimpse into her sensitive side. It doesn't always last long. because this girl is on the move!
