Lindt Chocolatiers

One Saturday in March I took Sammy & Alex down to the Lindt Chocolate Factory in Kilchberg. We signed them up to have a go about being a "Lindt Chocolatier". It was an amazing experience.

The outfits alone was worth the trip! Don't they just look adorable?!

We each made a chocolate bunny. First you paint accents using the opposite type of chocolate bunny you want. Then you have to paint the inside of the mold with the chocolate. Alex chose to make a dark chocolate and Sammy chose milk chocolate.

Then after they hardened we filled them with the chocolate and then poured it out to make them thick enough, but hallow. Our chocolatier was very sweet and spoke wonderful English! She finished off the bottom of our bunny for us and then set us to work on the pralines.

We dipped the pralines and decorated them. While we waited we decorated paper eater baskets and waited for our chocolate creations.

Here is Alex with his bunny and pralines all wrapped up in his Easter basket.

And here is Sammy with her creations.

It was such a great experience and we can't wait until Christmas so we can go again. This time Clara can join us:)
