Happy Mother's Day To Me
I know I am little early, but Happy Mother's Day to me. I feel so lucky to have such great children to call mine!
Our Supper Star!
Sammy has been quite busy lately with school performances and she loves them. She loves to be in the spot light and have special places to go. I think having mom be so busy with 3 kids has been hard on her and she needs that extra attention these events bring.
Her she is as a little mexican dancer performing for her school at the Heritage Potluck. Sammy's teacher speaks spanish and Sammy has picked up many words. And the words she doesn't know she just makes up.
Sammy's class is mostly girls...those poor boys are really out numbered.
Sammy's group put on "The Little Red Hen" for us. She was the lazy, fat cat. When she first came up to sing I was so impressed with how on key she was. It was perfect and I was a proud mom!

Sammy is showing off how brave she is the sprinklers. It wasn't a really warm day, but she loved getting soaked!

Alex is such a boy!
Alex seriously is my hard child right now. He has such a no care attitude that punishments don't really work and trust me we have tried it all. So my new strategy-BE MORE LIKE ALEX and just go with the flow.
This is Alex having a snack after a day of preschool & soccer. It was just too much fun.
Alex loves to play dress-up and especially with is best buddy, Jack. Those two guys are unseperable.
Alex has started taking soccer and loves it! Every day he asks, "Is it my soccer today?" He runs is little heart out and loves to crash into either his ball or other players and fall down.
After soccer we often head over to the park. Last week the sprinklers were on and they got soaked. Had to ride home naked. :)
I often wonder when Alex will not need to be hosed down after each meal. Obviously, not any time soon.

Clara is so much fun!
Clara is such a joy! I know that everyone says this, but I can't believe how fast she is growing up. Here are a few pictures from April.
Clara loves to take baths and is so happy floating in there. As soon as you start to take off her clothes she gets excited. If it is not bath not she gets made when you put new clothes on. I swear she could almost float on her own with all that chub.
Alex was dying to feed Clara a bottle. As you can see it did not go very well. Alex gets distracted easily making the bottle slip for Clara's mouth. Don't mess with Clara when it is feeding time. :)
Clara had her first trip to the beach. It was a beautiful day. George is a little paranoid about her getting sunburned so she stayed under the umbrella with her daddy most of the time.
Clara is rolling over! She gets stuck on her tummy and yells for help...of course we come running.
Clara and her daddy are best buds. She loves it when he comes home from work, scoops her up in her arms, & covers her with kisses.
Clara & Sammy got matching dresses from my dear friend Sara. Clara was finally big enough to wear them. Don't they look adorable?! Now I know why people love to match their kids' clothing.
Clara started rice cereal this week and doesn't really like it...I'll keep trying though.

The Last Month At A Glance
Alex & Sammy are such great friends and love to play! Here they are getting married and dancing. I am so glad they get along!
Happy St. Patrick's Day! Thanks to Grandma Gourley for the great shirts. Don't you think Clara looks amazing in that green?! Looks like we have found her color.
We had a crazy Easter this year. The Easter Bunny came Saturday before we left for Utah for Sammy's Spring Break. George was already out there, so I did the celebration by myself. The big chocolate bunny was a hit and Sammy ate her'a all gone in an hour. We had a great time in Utah with family! Thank you to grandma Gourley, Grandma Hobbs, & grandpa Hobbs for being such great hosts!
We love to go visit Great Grandma & Grandpa Gourley. They always seem to feed us a meal no matter what time we come (our kids are always hunger and I sure can't turn down food). And the kids love their toys (especially Alex) and the gumball machine.
We went to the Bean Museum, which was my first time. I couldn't believe I hadn't been there. What was I doing while I was at BYU...kissing most likely. :)
