We are so lucky to have Alex as part of our family for 8 years now! He is such a great kid; funny, marches to the beat of his own drum, carefree, kind, inquisitive, enjoys music, LOVES football (soccer), uses the metric system like he grew up with it, is creative, gets down on the floor and really plays with Allison, loves to explore & use his Swiss Army knife, remembers interesting facts, can't get enough electronics especially Wii, loses lots of things & then finds them, loves to laugh!
This year we spent his birthday at the Horgen Badi with the Dublins and grandma Hobbs.
We played some ping pong...he just loves it.
First time swimming out to the trampoline...Alex doesn't like swimming in lakes. He can't see the bottom and that freaks him out, so this was a big accomplishment! Way to go!
Football (soccer) cake of course!
New football (soccer ball) from grandma Searle. Hopefully we don't lose this one. We have lost 3 already. :)
A new guitar...destined to be just like his dad.
Sister Cannon & Sister McBride there to celebrate with us. They taught Alex the missionary discussions before he was baptized to make sure he was ready and they have become part of the family!
Alex was thrilled to get a scout shirt (they don't have it here in Switzerland, but we will work on it at home) and the plaque from G & G Hobbs.
